Thursdays evening slate of NBA action offers up six games. Which players should you build around and which players should you fade? Our experts have the answers.Todays panel includes ESPN Fantasys Kyle Soppe, Joe Kaiser and Jim McCormick.Players to build aroundJoe Kaiser -- John Wall, Washington WizardsWall is coming off a career-high 52-point scoring night against Orlando. Tonight, hes matched up against a Nuggets team that ranks in the bottom five in terms of DFS points allowed to point guards. Thats quite the combination, and Im all over Wall in this game against Denvers 25th ranked defense.Kyle Soppe -- Andrew Harrison, Memphis GrizzliesWait, what? Yep, you bet. Listen, Harrison has averaged 32.6 minutes over his last five games and he gets the least efficient defense in basketball tonight. Playing a poor defensive team is one thing, but Portland was gutted by the Bucks for 115 points last night and is coughing up an average of 119.8 points per game on games played with zero rest this season. Harrisons point scoring isnt very safe, but he has contributed at least four boards and four dimes in all four games this month. Its not going to require much production for him to achieve value tonight, and his price tag allows you to spend big elsewhere.Jim McCormick -- Damian Lillard, Portland Trail BlazersWith the Warriors playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, and with the prospect of their key players sitting or simply playing reduced minutes against a slow-paced and depleted Jazz team, well want to identify high-ceiling alternatives on this six-game slate. Enter Lillard, who has a fantasy floor of 33.5 points on DraftKings over his past 10 games and is the ball-dominant leader of a Portland scheme that leads the NBA in pace. Memphis isnt nearly the formidable matchup for point guards it was with Mike Conley active. Lillard could feast on rookie Andrew Harrison and the teams patchwork depth chart at the position.Players to fadeJoe Kaiser -- Danilo Gallinari, Denver NuggetsGallinari has reached 30 DFS points just once in his last seven games, and thats the number hed have to hit tonight in order to reach his salary value. While Washington is a bad team and checks in as a bottom-10 defensive unit, thats still asking too much out of Gallo.Kyle Soppe -- Klay Thompson, Golden State WarriorsIt wasnt long ago that Thompson hung 60 points on the board in a mere 29 minutes of action, but how much is that performance going to help you tonight? Zero. Zip. Nada. I could work the Thompson is on the second night of a back-to-back for a team that isnt worried about the regular season angle, but this is more a Jazz thing than anything else. Stagnant Utah runs the slowest offense in the league, thus helping their defense rank as a top three unit in 3-pointers made, field goal percentage and points per shot against. This game means far more to the Jazz than it does to the Warriors, and with Utah in the middle of a five-game home stand (and both coming off and heading into an off day), Im not high on the Warriors attack tonight.Jim McCormick -- Kevin Durant, Golden State WarriorsDurant told reporters he plans to play tonight, but coach Steve Kerrs explicit plan to get his core guys some rest creates a fade angle for Durant and the teams other high-dollar stars. The Jazz claim the slowest pace in the NBA, so pivoting to the cost certainty and lower price of ?a guy like Chicagos Jimmy Butler is the wiser course of action for Thursday.Ron Jaworski Womens Jersey . And he agreed. And sure enough, thats exactly what they got. But that wasnt the end of the drama. Shortly before the unofficial order of finish was posted, the stewards also posted the inquiry sign, looking into the stretch run after Sweet Loretta and Pretty City Dancer engaged in a bumping duel as they approached the wire. But in the end, to almost nobodys surprise, the stewards allowed the final result to stand. With Sweet Loretta and Pretty City Dancer both becoming Grade 1 winners, the pair checking home 5-3/4 lengths clear of Cherry Lodge, who tired steadily to finish third as the even-money favorite.Sweet Loretta and Pretty City Dancer both benefitted from a lively pace, set by Runway Doll and pressed by Cherry Lodge. Sweet Loretta was the first to strike, rallying three wide to take command in early stretch. She edged clear near the furlong grounds, then dug in gamely after appearing to relinquish a short advantage in the shadow of the wire.Pretty City Dancer bobbled briefly at the break, raced wide while within striking distance on the turn, lugged in while failing to switch off her left lead down the stretch, stuck her head in frontt briefly a few yards from the finish line before settling for the dead heat.ddddddddddddweet Loretta, winner of the Grade 3 Schuylerville on opening day, paid $4.90. Pretty City Dancer, winner of the Debutante at Churchill Downs in her previous start, returned $5.60. Final time for seven furlongs over the fast track was a relatively slow 1:24.18.I thought she was going to get there, and then she kind of laid in, said Casse, who trains Pretty City Dancer for John Oxley. I thought we won, then I thought we got beat watching the replay. Shes a nice horse, and I think shell get better as she runs further. Obviously having the previous experience she had helped. Its something we strive to do early on, and in this case it worked out.Pletcher said he thought Sweet Loretta got a pretty good head bob, but still wasnt sure whether he had won or not.The race was similar to [Friday] when we had a filly with Mark Casse that exchanged bumps pretty good, and I figured if they didnt change that one, they wouldnt change this one, especially with the dead heat, said Pletcher, who trains Sweet Loretta for the St. Elias Stable. Cherry Lodge looked like she got a little bit tired after getting a little too keen early. The two most seasoned horses finished one-two. We saw the trend all day. There is no substitute for experience, especially in seven-furlong races for 2-year-olds. ' ' '
